2023 Honorees

We will honor five outstanding individuals for their diligent service as community leadership. They have truly embodied Mrs. Hadley’s mantra that “Everyone has what it takes to be a leader. You must lead from where you are.” Like Mrs. Hadley, they have taken up the mantle to leave wherever they have been better than how they found it by being agents of transformation.

Scholarship Opportunity

Added to this years program will be the presentation of a scholarship in honor of Mrs. Hadley.

It is with great pleasure that the Juneteenth Fort Worth Committee supports the educational goals of the youth in our community. As an expression of our commitment to the youth, we offer a college scholarship to a graduating high school senior  who has plans on continuing their post-secondary education by attending a vocation/training institute, Junior College or College/University of their choice. Scholarship funds will be disbursed by check to the College/University and will be sent by certified mail. We congratulate you on your successes thus far, and celebrate your dedication to your education and academic achievements.

Deadline for submitting all requested materials must be post marked by:
