Precious Maku
Reigning Miss Juneteenth Fort Worth

Precious Maku is a 16 year old senior at Central High School in Fort Worth, Texas. Miss Juneteenth Fort Worth was her first pageant and she won! Her platform is centered around mental health awareness. She believes that a world that embodies understanding can bridge the gap of intolerance for one another. She is a STEM student with an impeccable GPA and a stellar track record of volunteerism. She went on to place 2nd runner up at nationals and has continued her work throughout the community since competition.

Pageant Overview
The Miss Juneteenth Scholarship Pageant continues to positively and progressively impact the lives of young women. This impact is accomplished through the training and seminars provided to the contestants. Even though this is a pageant, there is a sisterhood created among the contestants, and this intangible benefit is the most impactful.
Contestants are awarded scholarships to further their education. These scholarships greatly enhance the possibility of a young lady fulfilling her ultimate goals.
The winner will have the opportunity to compete in the National Miss Juneteenth competition in Galveston, Texas.
